BACKGROUND
Sebastian Has is a music producer and mixing/mastering engineer based in Warsaw (Poland). He has a degree in sound engineering and has been working in the audio industry professionally for the last 25 years. He worked with bands (Behemoth, Obscure Sphinx, The Materia) and clients (Coca-Cola, Pepsi, BMW, Orange, Carlsberg) recognized internationally.
Seb has mixed and mastered audio for CD, DVD, Vinyl, Casette, TV and radio broadcast, Internet and film (5.1). He’s done thousands of hours of recording, editing, tuning, time aligning, drum replacing, ADR, and sound design.
He had the pleasure of engineering and co-producing a large part of Behemoth’s latest album „I Loved You at Your Darkest”. Since then, he has been the band’s trusted go-to studio engineer. Sebastian engineered and co-produced guitars and vocals for Behemoth’s new album „Opvs Contra Natvram”.
HIS STYLE
Seb calls it „modern organic brutality”. He always strives for the sound to be performance-centered, true and authentic, making sure it’s real and not over-produced or cleaned to perfection. He’s a multi-instrumentalist with a great understanding of music. His goal is to reinforce the musicality of songs through various technical processes. The artist, their music, and their unique character always come first.
